Spiritual Life

Blue Army  (World Apostolate Of Fatima)
 
  An apostolate for spreading and living the message of Fatima by consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary,  sanctification of daily duty,  Holy Hours,  rosary,  consecration of homes,  First Saturday devotions and pilgrimages. Rosary and Holy Hours:  Monday 6:30 to 7:30 P.M.  First Saturday 7:00 to 8:00 A.M. in the church.  All other Saturdays at 7:30 A.M.  Please contact the Rectory for more information at 410-483-1700.
 
Catholic Daughters
   Court Marian #1665 is a religious, charitable and educational organization serving the needs of the church and community through Apostolate,  Renewal,  Community and Youth.  Catholic woman 18 years and older,  in good standing with the church,  are eligible for membership.  The Junior Catholic Daughters is open to all Catholic girls ages 6-18.  Their objective is to promote the development of the whole person through programs of self-identity,  personal and spiritual growth,  peer group relationships, and promote service to others.  Meetings are held in the Rectory on the third Wednesday of each month.  Please contact the Rectory for more information at 410-483-1700.
 
Sanctuary Society
  
The silent partner in all parish functions.  Dedicated ladies take turns weekly keeping the alters ands sanctuary clean, laundering alter cloths and Mass linens.  If you would like to help please contact the Rectory at 410-483-1700.
 
Sodality
   A society of parish ladies who devote themselves in a special way to increasing the honor and love of the Mother of God.  Please contact the Rectory for more information at 410-483-1700.
 
Prayer Chain
   If you, or anyone you know, has a special prayer request call Audrey Spencer at 410-882-4047 between the hours of 5PM-9PM Monday through Friday or 2PM-9PM on Saturday or Sunday.  " What an extraordinary thing it is, the efficiency of prayer!  Like a queen,  it has access at all times to the royal Presence, and can get whatever it asks for"  (St. Therese of Lisieux)
 
Respect Life
  
A standing committee of the Pastoral Council which seeks to "Safeguard human life from conception to the grave".  Works with legislative channels, public relations and dissemination of pro-life information.  Annually participates in the January March for Life in Washington, D.C.  For more information please follow our link "Respect Life".

Bible Study
   Evening Bible study classes are available the first and third Tuesday of every month from 7p.m. to 9p.m.  Morning Scripture classes are offered the first and third Friday of every month fro 10 a.m. to noon.  All classes are held in the parish rectory.
   Groups use the Little Rock Catholic Bible study program.  Each member receives a book of the Bible combined with an excellent commentary, along with a second book that offers a series of reflective questions related to the scriptural readings in the first book.  Currently we are on the book of Matthew.
There are about 10 members who participate in both the evening and morning sessions.  We have been meeting for three years and everyone finds these gatherings of study, sharing and prayer very enriching.  We hope you will join us.  For more information call 410-483-1700.
 
Religious Education
   Religious classes are held on Saturday mornings from September to May for children who attend public school.  Classes are for children in grades Pre-Kindergarten through grade eight.  Students in Grade two are prepared for the Sacraments of Penance and Eucharist.  Students in grade eight are prepared for the sacrament of Confirmation.  Classes are held from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.  For more information call 410-483-1700

Father Peyton Rosary Guild
   Our Rosary Guild meets the first Tuesday of every month at 10:30AM in the rectory.  Anyone interested in helping to make rosaries for "our neighbors near and far" is welcome to join the group.  Call the rectory at 410-483-1700 if you have any questions.
